The Valentine Public Library provides innovative and sustainable library services that will enrich the quality of life for the citizens of Valentine and Cherry County. It is a full-service library with a collection of 28,350 items, which include audio, video, print, historical, and multimedia materials. Patrons can print, scan, send and receive faxes, and photocopy.

Eleven public access computers with current Microsoft Office software are available. The library maintains a fiber optic internet connection as well as Wi-Fi access for patrons who wish to use personal devices in the library. A children’s learning computer and three other gaming computers can be used by young children.

A number of programs are scheduled throughout the year for both adults and children, and meeting room space is available to be used for civic, cultural, and educational activities.
